Editorial Policy
This page explains how content on WorkStackReview is produced, how money is handled, and what happens when we get something wrong.
1. Independence
We are self-funded. No vendor previews our reviews before publication, and no vendor can pay to change a rating. If a vendor disagrees with what we wrote, the response is a public correction process — never a quiet edit in exchange for anything.
2. How we choose what to cover
We cover tools small teams actually search for, prioritized by the questions readers ask: what does it cost per seat, how long does setup take, and where do people give up on it. We do not cover a product simply because it has an affiliate program.
3. Hands-on testing
Register, use, screenshot. Every review is based on a real account we created and used for the task the product is sold for. If an article draws on documentation or other sources instead of our own testing, the article says so explicitly. Our testing process is described step by step on the How We Test page.
4. Pricing accuracy
We copy pricing from vendor pages on the day of publication and note that date in the article. Software prices change often; we re-check pricing quarterly and update articles with a dated note when figures change.
5. Affiliate commissions
Some links on this site earn us a commission at no additional cost to the reader. Where a review contains affiliate links, the page carries a disclosure at the top. Rankings and recommendations are set before commercial terms are discussed. Details are on the Affiliate Disclosure page.
6. Corrections
Found an error? Email editor@workstackreview.com. We correct visibly, with a dated note explaining what changed — we do not silently rewrite articles.
